We here perform an analysis to find the response of variables when different predictor variables are chosen. Here, we make observations corresponding to 38 players in the year 2013. The data set we have chosen includes: Predictor variables: X1 –Total minutes played. X2 – Number of Field goals made X3 – Number of Field throws made X4 – Number of Rebounds. Response Variables: Y – Total points scored in the year 2013 by 38 players. The reason for analyzing this data is to check the way the plots change for different predictor variables and to check the normality, linearity of the model etc. in such a way that it exhibits easy understanding. For the chosen data, we establish a relationship between the predictor variables and the Points scored (Response Variable). This helps any person to estimate the points scored at any point of time for a chosen predictor variable. DATA SET ANALYSIS: We here consider 38 observations and we plot the predictor variables against points scored.
